Pork chops in sweet and sour sauce
Ingredients :
- 4 pork chops
- 3/4 cup tomato juice
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp English mustard
- 1/4 tsp powdered cloves
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper
Preparation :
This recipe makes tender pork chops! It's become a family favorite, and we love making it often. I hope you try it too!
This recipe serves 4 and takes about 2 hours.
Brown the chops in a little fat. Season with salt and pepper. Place in an ovenproof dish. Mix and bring the remaining ingredients to a boil, then pour them over the chops. Cover the pot and bake over moderate heat (350°F) until the chops are tender (1–1 1/2 hours).
